Early, earlier, earliest.

If you want to get in on Project Genom without being part of a formal testing pool, your chance is approaching. The developers have announced that the game will be launching on Steam’s Early Access service in May of 2016, just a couple of months away. There’s a lengthy list of mechanics that will be in the game by the time the game launches into its Early Access state, starting with updated animations and character customization to improve what’s already in the current test client.

Other improvements include the full crafting system, more robust world exploration, a development of the skill system and organism modification, and your personal cabin (i.e. personal housing). There’s no exact timeframe on all of these additions aside from the fac that they all should be in the game by the time the title hits early access in May.
