What're you doing here?

If you’re hoping for every gender-locked class in Black Desert to have an equivalent for the other gender, the bad news for you is that that’s not among the future development plans. According to a community-driven interview with the developers, making a new cross-gender class equivalent is as much work as making an entirely new class, which means that three of the classes with no male equivalent are planned to remain exclusive to the ladies. It does mean that entirely new classes are being carefully considered, though.

The interview covers a variety of future plans looking forward from the game’s existing Korean patches as well as region-specific considerations such as having region-specific mechanics. The developers are committed to tuning the game to work for each given region it exists within. The short version is that there’s quite a bit still waiting in the world, even if you’re already very familiar with the game from its beta test events.
