If you aren’t happy with your ArcheAge server, then Trion has a proposal for you: You give Trion credits, and Trion moves your characters. Everyone wins!

Yes, ArcheAge is set to open “paid character transfers” beginning February 29th. There are some basic caveats; you’ll need to divest your toons of their mail, land, drydocks, guilds, and families first, for example. You can’t move to a fresh start server, either, or one that’s already full or suffering faction imbalances, and you may not get to keep your name. The studio will make allowances for large guilds as well.

Transfers will cost 2700 credits per character, which means you can technically move for in-game gold if you play your currencies right.

Trion also let us know that “the most popular mount in the game’s history” arrives on North American and European servers today — that’d be the Black Pegasus mount, and its trailer is below.
