Hope you weren’t expecting to contract the virtual bubonic plague any time soon. The grim medieval survival game The Black Death announced yesterday that it will be moving its early access launch from March to April.
“We’ve also sadly had to put our early access release back a month, so the new early access launch date is planned to be April 19th, 2016,” the studio posted. A reason for the delay was not given.

One could say that they are going to be late in their early release, lol ;)
Don’t worry, if you can’t wait for the virtual black death, you can still get it IRL. An estimated 5-15 people catch it in the US per year.
Unfortunately IRL you don’t turn into a zombie when you get it, just the loss of fingers, toes, life, etc.
AGx Well, Black Desert this coming week, then The Division the following week for me at least.
Whatever the reason, it’s probably for the best. A large portion of the searching MMO crowd will probably be elbow deep into Black Desert for that first month. Pushing this back to April means it’ll get more attention from the ones that will inevitably leave after the first month.
1348 – the Black Death, typhus, cholera, consumption, bubonic plague…
I thought this said Black Desert at first. Had a deer in the headlights look!
Looks interesting. Â No biggie on the delay – not like there isn’t tons of other stuff to play right now.
..A reason for the delay was not given.
I take this as a good sign. It means they have a minimum acceptable gameplay/stability target to reach before they’re willing let the public see it.
Sad news, but I’m sure they have valid reasons. Looking forward to this, whenever it’s ready.
