A new H1Z1 — or “Hizzy,” to its friends — producer’s letter shares that the team is still “regrouping and refocusing” following its digital fission. While the letter is brief, it does promise that the community can expect weekly communiques from the devs going forward.

In the letter, the team said that the priority for the PvE game will be to stamp out bugs, enhance enemy AI, and to introduce three new zombie types in the near future. As for the PvP side, bug fixes and balance tweaks are the order of the day. A new (but unspecified) game mode is in the works and should appear on the test server relatively soon.

H1Z1 recently split into two titles, with one pursuing a PvE survival mode and one concentrating on the popular PvP battle royale. While it made both games available for those who had previously purchased it, future customers will have to buy each separately.
