Star Trek Online plans an Admirality campaign for the Romulan Republic

The Romulan Republic has been in the background for a bit in Star Trek Online. Obviously the faction is still important, considering that it’s an ally of both the Federation and the Klingon Empire, but the focus has been on other wars and struggles aside from building a new Romulan homeworld. Season 11.5 will bring attention back to the Republic in the form of an Admirality campaign to boost Romulan interests and secure the faction’s place in the galaxy.

Players who send their fleets to aid the Romulans will receive Romulan Republic Universal Tech Upgrades, which cost no Dilithium and award 15,000 Technology Points while also offering a chance to improve an item’s quality. Successfully reaching Tier 10 within the campaign will give players a new ship for use within their fleets, an Escort-style ship which boosts Engineering and Tactical values for all ships on an assignment. All characters past level 52 will be able to take part in the campaign, so get your ships ready to be deployed for the Romulan Republic once again.
