The testing for World of Warcraft‘s next expansion is almost finished adding new specs for players to try out as the latest Legion test build has added Assassination Rogue and Frost Mage into the mix. That’s on top of the the various changes made to nearly all of the existing specs in this particular build, with several specs such as Enhancement Shaman and Beast Mastery Hunters receiving tweaks to their core rotations. Even if your favorite specs have already been available, they’re definitely getting changed.

The newest build also divides all classes and specs into having one of two GCD styles: The more common 1.5s GCD that can be reduced by Haste or a flat 1s GCD that is unaffected by Haste for specs meant to feel faster. The plan is also to add in Heroic dungeons for testing soon, which means that the expansion test is getting ever closer to resembling the expansion as it will stand on launch day.
