If you’d like the chance to win one, tune in live at 4:00 p.m. as OPTV‘s infamous Stream Team brings you even more…

Dezmo Not really sure how to feel about the changes.  Right now, the game feels fairly solid and cards essentially allow you to customize each champion’s playstyle.  There are enough cards to where there is still some variety, but it’s more manageable balance-wise and whatnot.   Like I personally kind of like that most champions only have like 12 cards on average as opposed to the 30+ they used to have, which created broken combinations like Pocket Grohk.
Also as a Founder Pack owner I don’t have to worry about the way they’re changing up how champion unlocks will work, since I get the Champion Pack (will be Paladins equivalent to SMITE’s Ultimate God Pack) included in the Founder one.
It still feels different enough I think.  Though I haven’t played it too much over the past month.  I just finished a game where I kind of just went in blind and it felt overall more enjoyable and satisfying to land shots and stuff as opposed to the past where you could burst people down without them having time to react.

I was excited about this game. The change that your article talked about is disconcerting though. I like Smite but I was hoping for something a little different. The more they change the focus of the cards and add champions will only invite more comparison to Overwatch. Which I think is a bad thing. Everyone knows how certain fans of Blizzard like to shame everything not made by them. It’s bad enough many people think WoW was the first mmo. /sigh
