ARK: Survival Evolved’s new spin off, ARK: Survival of the Fittest, is adding eSports to the survival game officially with ranking, matchmaking, rewards, and tournaments. Dubbed by Studio Wildcard as the first ever MOSA (Multiplayer Online Survival Arena), SoTF will pit up to 72 combatants in a struggle for survival where only one tribe of one to six players will make it out alive. Players can choose from unofficial (player-hosted) servers or official (ranked) ones.

Need an incentive to play? Each month the studio will be awarding over $50,000 to the Top-10 ranked players in each of the four game modes, referred to as the Survivor League. And there is no entry cost to start, as this version of the game is free with no monetization. Survival of the Fittest is available now on Steam Early Access; anyone who also wants to pick up the Survival Evolved edition can do so now at a 40% discount.
