If you’re eagerly awaiting Star Citizen‘s next major version update, you can take heart that it’s on its way. The latest issue of Around the Verse confirms that Alpha 2.3 is up on the test server, with work starting on patch 2.4 once that’s ready for prime time. The community team also discussed the ships in the game that are being made playable, with the Vanduul Blade having been originally developed specifically for Squadron 42.

The team also had an interview with Andy Serkis about his role in Squadron 42 as a Vanduul leader because Serkis will never actually be allowed to play a human being in any production ever. There are plans to release the Vanduul language to fans, so you can learn to speak the whole thing. Check out the full video just below, or save yourself some time if you’d rather by reading the Imperial News Network summary.
