This Destiny update will leave you breathless

Coming on April 12th is a sizable update to Destiny with all sorts of new challenges and rewards for players who have blitzed through the rest of the content.

Existing areas, such as the Court of Oryx, have had their difficulty levels (and associated payouts) increased, along with the maximum level of light. There’s a new level 41 version of the Prison of Elders that gives players the option to activate a challenge mode while they’re storming the instance. Guardians will also have to contend with the rise of an aspiring taken king and fight off waves of taken in the prison cells. There’s even three additional sets of armor included, although players will have to work their metal-suited butts off for them.

In the update, Bungie is adding a new way to visually customize armor with something called chroma. When obtained, chroma can be applied to weapons and gear to give them a sleek glow. It comes in four colors: white, blue, red, and yellow.

Heavy content recycling to tide the 7 month drought, about what i expected. Not exactly going to pull that many people back for long after they see it all in a day and then realise its just running the same old same old for the good old destiny RNG.

Especially launching the same day as Dark Souls 3 and the divisions big update.

MikedotFoster I guess I should also point out that I have 174 hours of game play according to the steam shame timer.    I like poking around the city and picking up all the collectables of which there are a lot.  Kind of depends on what you want from the game I guess but decent value for me even if I never touch it again.

MikedotFoster  It seems so from my own experience of the game. I am not having any trouble finding groups to do the daily challenge mission which is about all I have to do at the moment other than casual pvp but I am not really interested in exploring the pvp side of things too much.
Some new content releasing on the 12th that is supposed to be rock hard (according to the dev team) so I expect people will have it on farm a couple of days after release hehe :-)

BalsBigBrother  Are people still playing The Division? Everyone I know went HAM on it for 20 hours and churned.
