The Division vows to crack down on cheaters

Cheating may not be as harsh as burning infected civilians alive in the The Division, but it nevertheless is hurting the game’s environment.

In a recent state of the game report, Ubisoft promised that will take stronger action against PC hackers and exploiters. Tools are already in place that allow players to narc on suspected cheaters, although the devs noted that some players were doing it out of spite or false observations. Apparently such problems haven’t crossed over into the console versions.

On a more positive note, the studio said that 41% of players have already completed the main storyline. Patch 1.1 is coming soon with more blueprints, a re-ranking of gear, and a fix for a PC backpack bug that prevented some players from logging back into the game.
