Blizzard has just confirmed that this year’s BlizzCon is on for November 4th and 5th in Anaheim. That means it’s almost time to fight to the death for your tickets!

BlizzCon 2016 tickets will go on sale in two batches on Wednesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. PT and Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. PT through the online event ticketing service Universe, priced at $199 each (plus applicable taxes and fees). Check out the BlizzCon Ticket webpage for all the details.

A virtual ticket for streaming and the optional swag bag are once again planned. “Further details on the Virtual Ticket, including pricing, availability, and programming information, will be announced at a later date,” reads the press release.

BlizzCon is the epic celebration of Blizzard Entertainment’s game universes and the global player communities that bring them to life. This year, attendees will have the chance to experience:

So will this be the first Blizzcon where they have no new games to announce? I know they are hiring for a new Diablo project, but unless thats ‘heroes of sanctuary’ and its out this year i doubt thats something to announce yet.

Unless Legion isnt out yet by then and they pull a ‘AND ITS OUT TODAY!’ i could see this being one like that terrible one around 2010ish where they had nothing new and all the news sites were slow as molasses on news.

unless they are still desperately pushing epsorts hard. Could be good cringe channel material.

RicharddeLeonIII I was wanting to ask about the weekend. Seems like an awesome counter culture event. Actually, I just love meeting with gamers, cause we all can be ourselves. Don’t play WoW much anymore, but three other franchises. I figure the cosplay is worth the money by itself.

Greaterdivinity  I don’t think so.  But they have a huge eSports push with a number of games.  So might as well also have WoW at Blizzcon, especially since a number of Blizzard customers play WoW.

Loopstah I wonder if we got a delay to Legion till after blizzcon if we’d get a pannel where they’re telling us what is fun and what isn’t fun again like a couple of years ago. XD.

2016 World of Warcraft® Arena World Championship

Wait…are they still trying to pretend they can make WoW into an esport or something?
