Word that wildly popular “progressive vanilla” World of Warcraft emulator Nostalrius is sunsetting in the face of a Blizzard legal threat has dominated MMORPG news for the past few days. I’ve seen so many MMO gamers claiming they’d love for Blizzard to seize the moment and announce its very own vanilla server, a retro server with old-school rules. Chances are slim; Blizzard has downplayed the idea on numerous occasions.
