The last patch for Gloria Victis focused on combat balance, and this patch does too. Adjustments for player HP, passive abilities, and weapon damage are all meant to close the gap between veteran characters and newer ones, making combat more about smart choices than just having an overwhelming numerical advantage. Of course, the woodworking craft has also been improved with this patch, so it’s a bit easier to get that advantage if you want it.
Players will also be dealing with a new account management system to simplify the process of registration and address some persistent issues found by players. It’s an incremental change to the game, but one that should make the game a bit more fun to play. Unless you liked the old account management system (unlikely) and having a huge advantage over newer characters (reasonably likely).
pyrkonette Robert80 Silverlock Yeah, GV is in MMO mode, but you will note that I said LiF is “gearing for MMO beat testing” because… they are! They have always planned to be an MMO on a much more massive map.
BD, well… we don’t really have enough of their full info yet to say everything, but they are indeed starting with some smaller group setups. It doesn’t mean they may not be raising that once they have optimized. Many games start off with smaller test groups.
pyrkonette Robert80 Silverlock Life is Feudal is going to be an MMO though. Life is Feudal is distinguished from the others by being a terraforming game with no structures prebuilt anywhere outside the start location, only wild nature.

First of all LiF and BD is multiserver game like a DayZ while GV is MMO.
Also GV costs 10$ while LiF is 30$.
Silverlock They are very similar in some aspects. Just the quick guide:
GV: More PvE, less ganking punishment (safe zones only to protect you.) May be more familiar seeming to many MMO players.
LiF: More crafting. Harsh ganking punishments (a minimum of 2 days to murder and loot somebody.) High levels of cooperation required.
BD: An odd mix lying between the two with permadeath and account progression. Still not as much info out, but some of the ideas look cool!
A full article on it would indeed be cool.
I have to admit I now have Gloria Victis and Life is Feudal all confused with each other, heck even Black Death looks a lot like those two as well. That might be a good idea for an article the differences and similarities between Gloria Victis, Life is Feudal and Black Death.
