The Division gives everyone free Phoenix Credits to compensate for glitches

Under the city.

Have you endured some glitches in The Division? The developers are aware of the issues, and they’re working to fix them. By way of apology, all players are being granted 150 Phoenix Credits this weekend, even if you’ve managed to avoid any sort of major glitches yourself. And if you have… well, your experience is worth 150 Phoenix Credits. That’s the most immediate takeaway from the recent state of the game livestream, embedded below if you’d prefer to watch it.

The stream also covers the issue of cheating, acknowledging that handling the issue will be a continuing struggle and that keeping an eye out for exploits is no simple task. If you’re mostly interested in your free Phoenix credits, keep your eyes on Twitter before the weekend.

I wonder if it is portentous that the lights have already started to go out….

They could keep the 150 credits if they would just take out the green mat rolls in the boxes once you hit level 30.
It’s kind of an insult to have green mats after you hit max, considering how many it takes to make a blue out of them, and then a gold out of those blues.

BalsBigBrother A boat load of hyperbole here but… if my Government handed me $10 as compensation for not being able to catch the large groups of people going on a murder sprees in my neighbor hood…..I don’t think i’d vote for them next election  because hey…they gave me $10!

I don’t want compensation. I want solutions.

The phoenix credits compensation  is better than a kick in the nuts I guess but I much prefer them to show a change with regards to cheaters and exploiters.  We hear the same words continually and the talking continues but I imagine not many people see too much difference within the game.  More show less tell please

I think the average response of many players is:

“credits? Nah, no thanks, Ive gotten all the loot I need from exploiting already”

In other Ubisoft news, Elmer Fudd will be heading up the new division in charge of hunting down cheaters….and wabbits.

Even though phoenix credits are nice, most of the good stuff now is still recipes from dark zone vendors or just plain dropped items.  Not a huge incentive in my eyes unless I’m missing something.  I guess we can all purchase an item from the specialty merchant in the engineering wing but that’s about it.
