Looking at the launch trailer which I hadn’t seen before…meh. Part of my thought of Bullet Run from the announcer, though those announcers were way better (and man, despite how bland that game was I kinda miss it). But looking at the actual game itself, it definitely does look EA, it’s pretty rough around many of the edges. But damn if I wasn’t feeling the same kind of blandness that Bullet Run had, it looks more or less like every one of the other survival killbox games out there, just with more of a Battle Royale angle. Like, all the “character” they’re trying to inject into the game comes in the form of window dressing rather than actually being expressed by gameplay.

It’s pretty rare that I can’t even sit through the preview , this is garbage people complain about nudity and yet this type of pointless violence is acceptable .

enamelizer Considering that there are even more people playing Rust nowadays despite the apparent “exodus” that design decision was supposed to have caused, maybe the devs should look into it : D
