Champions Online promises fresh events, archetypes, and costumes

Champions Online has posted a state of the game letter to let players know what’s new in Millennium City and what’s still on the way. You know, just in case you’re in the market for a superhero game or something. You don’t happen to know anyone who’s missing a superhero MMORPG today, do you?

Of note, Cryptic is hyping “new events with epic battles and unique new rewards,” new archetypes and costumes, minipets, and… OK. It’s lockboxes.

Watch for the new “Giant Monster Attack” and “Nightmare Invasion” events coming soon, with more to come!

More Lockbox Revisions! – We want to keep experimenting with our Lockboxes, providing you more of what you want to see and what would be useful to you in-game.

New Archetypes! – In addition to further archetype updates, we plan to put out more new Archetypes themed with our updates, including the Predator and Hexslinger.

New Costume Packs! – We all love the costume creator in Champions, and always want to provide more costume options!
