After 17 years of operation, EverQuest has racked up quite an assortment of anniversary events stretching back to the pre-smartphone era of humanity. You can’t entirely blame the dev team for taking it easy this year by electing to reprise old events in lieu of whipping up a new birthday celebration from scratch.
Therefore, EverQuest has reactivated nine years of anniversary events, spanning the 5th anniversary (2004) through the 13th (2012). All of these events and their associated activities will be running from now through June 8th, so you have quite a bit of time to complete them. There’s even a wiki page to guide you through all of them.
Daybreak announced that its brought back fabled mobs to track down and kill during this season as well. The studio also has a note for those on special server rulesets: “Fabled mob and anniversary content will become available on progression servers at approximately the expansion content release when they were first introduced.”
