The Secret World lays out sweeping PvP changes

The Fusang of tomorrow might be strikingly different than the version of the city today, at least in The Secret World.

Funcom said that plans are moving forward to revamp the PvP zone in the game, most notably with the replacement of most of its quests with dynamic events. There will be two such events when the changes go live, one which will boost a random facility’s anima output and one that will drop supplies in the zone that need to be run back to a base. Buffs and turrets will be looked at for the revamp, and Funcom said that it is considering merging the two battlegroups together into one large party.

These plans come as part of a five-point Q&A session with the community. In answer to other questions, the studio admitted to some of the difficulties in teaching the game’s core systems to players and hinted that support augments might be getting buffed in the future.
