Here’s the Black Desert commercial that’s sweeping the airwaves

102

It’s not every day that an MMO gets enough popularity and promotion to warrant a TV spot, so you’d be forgiven if you did a double-take at seeing Black Desert suddenly pop up during your favorite shows.

A new 30-second TV commercial for the game is out, driving across the point that Black Desert is really, really pretty. Also it has camels and dragons. Would this commercial be enough to draw you in if you hadn’t heard of it before? Watch it after the break and let us know in the comments!

Vaeris Boardwalker Nah, it’s definitely 1% (or less), it’s just that that 1% is very vocal on the message boards.

melissaheather Vaeris My rig is just under the recommended requirements with fully updated drivers. I don’t think that would be an issue (realizing with computers anything can become an issue at anytime).

Boardwalker Vaeris To each their own indeed. That the above issue is happening so much that it’s a “thing” being talked about leads me to believe it’s more than 1%. Compound that with the prevailing reports that their customer service isn’t very responsive…there are many other games out there for me go to. I am pleased that you are enjoying your time, however, and hope you continue to do so.

CistaCista Boardwalker Lethality theeknighthood If you’re basing your opinion of BDO’s grouping activities based on that woefully incomplete and inaccurate article, then I don’t blame you for feeling the way that you do.

I group up all the time to do things, and when I don’t group up, I also have things I can do. It’s a great balance.

CistaCista Boardwalker Lethality theeknighthood Forever… LITERALLY forever, players have been shouting from the mountaintops that “MMOS DOESNT MEAN FORCED GROUPING!!!” Mind you, I am a group-minded player.

But Black Desert gets it exactly right. It lets you exist and live in the world just as we do in our own, going about our business solo most of the time. But it forces you to get other people together when needed, otherwise you’re simply not going to overcome a given challenge.

This is as it should be. And remember, the main objective of the “end game” is territory control and that’s not even available yet… that will be a group-only activity.

Much better than contrived systems to force players together.

Boardwalker CistaCista Lethality theeknighthood I am not exactly the only person in the world telling you this.

MMOs are Here to Stay. And: Black Desert Online’s Singleplayer Experience

Not able to share crafting stations? LOL I didn’t even know this.

CistaCista Lethality theeknighthood There are so many group activities that you can do in this game that all I can do is smh at your comments.

Theo454 MopMe Your fears of “forced pvp” are completely out of sync with the actual gameplay in BDO.

MopMe PVE is way, way, way more prevalent in this game that PVP. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t actually played the game.
