Funcom launches The Park on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

It's the ride.

In the mood for a bit of horror in May? If you passed on The Park (the single-player narrative spin-off from The Secret World) back when it launched around Halloween, you have another option to pick it up now, as the game is arriving on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One today. Our impressions of the adventure when it originally launched were positive, so it’s well worth your purchase if you’d like a quick dose of horror for your couch.

Have you already played the heck out of The Park? Because there’s still something for you in the form of a new video highlighting some of the horrific events that have taken place at the eponymous amusement park. Check out the video past the break if you’re an old hand from The Secret World or just really enjoy having a deep anxiety about children’s entertainment.

Wow, it looks fantastic!  With the adventure-style elements, this seems like something Ragnar would have come up with.  Interesting that he left them and formed Red Thread to do adventure games, and now Funcom is doing stuff like this.
In any event, I really hope this takes off for Funcom, though; they could surely use a major success these days.

BalsBigBrother Sorenthaz Greaterdivinity Gibbins My confusion comes from the other direction. That’s to say, what does Ted Cruz being a David Icke-style lizard-man have to do with “The Park?”

Well! If marketing had paid that kind of attention to TSW when it came out maybe they wouldn’t have needed to fire 2/3 of the team….. great publicity piece…but wow….I feel like a step child now.

Armsbend Sorenthaz BalsBigBrother Greaterdivinity Gibbins Lol.  Not even going to get into an argument over Bernie Sanders but he and Hillary both have plenty of red flags.  The GOP has been fucked up for awhile and the media loves to push for whatever candidate they think is least likely to win against the Democratic candidate (or at the very least, more middle ground/liberal oriented).   2008 it was McCain, 2012 was Romney, this year it’s the stupidly inconsistent and controversial Trump.
There’s only one candidate that I think has any real promise, but at the same time America’s so screwed up anyway to where four-eight years won’t be enough to fix all the stupid shit that’s been steadily stacking up by previous presidents.

Sorenthaz BalsBigBrother Greaterdivinity Gibbins this election is like no other I’ve seen in my four decades on this earth.  I think people might die at the gop convention.  at a minimum we’ll get fisticuffs!

BalsBigBrother Sorenthaz Greaterdivinity Gibbins I’m American but I haven’t been paying that much attention to the political games as they just seem par for the usual course.   Armchair political experts and all.
