Foight foight foight!

The next free update for The Division is a big one. It brings in new gear and equipment for players to use, naturally, along with a new Incursion and new missions to take down enemy leaders. There’s also a new form of tension in extractions with the new Hijack option. Can you fit a comprehensive summary of all of that into a two-minute trailer featuring plenty of explosions?

Wait, you can? Well, maybe you should be making videos if you’re so smart. No, the trailer below does not deliver an in-depth investigation of all of these elements, but it is designed to get you all excited for them just the same. Check it out and get ready for the update, which lands on May 24th.

This game has a great story, amazing graphics, awesome repeatable story missions. Each weapon is a different playstyle. The PVP is mixed with PVE in the Dark Zone. Many people go in there and risk PVP to accomplish PVE oriented goals. If you want a pure PVP oriented game then wait for Camelot Unchained or play a Co-op shooter. This is not a PVP focused game and when you do PVP it is more about 4 vs 4.

They should really do something with the other 75% of the map. Maybe a NG+ or something? It’d be a nice break from the monotony of DZ, Incursion, and watching people glitch/exploit.

Cutting the extraction rope, in theory, sounds pretty cool. But the way The Division plays out, it’s just another way for bored people running around with the specific goal of ruining other’s fun to do just that.

This game kind of sucks balls. Its one giant PVE grind to level 30. If you want to do any PVP you have to find a group or else you die instantly.

Can’t wait to see all the teleporting, rope cutting hackers. Oh wait, I won’t because I stopped playing a couple weeks back HOPING 1.2 would give me a reason to come back. No luck on that front.

Finishing up my 4th level 30 character now.
Have all three sets now (not counting Nomad), but need a dedicated tanker.
I guess I’ll have the DPS guys double up sets.

The new PvE stuff looks interesting. I’ll go back to check that out. The dark zone stuff just makes me want to go there even less.

What i take away from this:

The majority of the games revenue is coming from trolls, exploiters and hackers, so they are designing the game around their desires.

I guess this means the rest of us should just stop playing.

Oh wait, we already have.

BalsBigBrother This game is screwed anyways. They’ll never be able to stop the cheating/hacking due to how they engineered the client, and they are playing softball with the cheaters because they don’t want to miss out on $$$ they would lose from permanently banning them. The exploiters/hackers will always be ahead of the curve compared to anyone trying to play legit. This game is, quite literally, a waste of your time if you don’t want to exploit/hack yourself. UBISoft is entirely to blame for this.

Sorry, UBISoft. I’ll be too busy playing Overwatch and Total War: Warhammer and Stellaris to give a crap about The Division. Worst money I’ve ever spent since I was suckered into buying Evolve.

Your utter incompetence in mismanaging this title has resulted in almost 80-85% of your player base abandoning the game and I don’t see that changing. You cut corners during development and foolishly made a client that is trusted by the server which is an absolute no-no on the PC. You will never get ahead of the cheaters and exploiters, especially when you play softball with them giving them temporary bans IF they get caught instead of growing a pair like Blizzard, who are permanently banning cheaters in Overwatch.
