Final Fantasy XIV posts a teaser for its next two dungeons

What is even happening now
The next two dungeons to be added to Final Fantasy XIV‘s lineup are not a secret – players will be exploring the brand-new Sohr Khai and the remixed Hullbreaker Isle (Hard). We even know the broadest strokes of the story for the latter, at least. But the most decent development preview isn’t focused on lore in the least, focusing instead on taking a quick trip through the two new dungeons so that players might have some idea of what to expect.

While the preview doesn’t go into depth on the bosses players will face, you can rest assured that a giant moogle is showing up for at least one of them, thus quelling the anguished cries of those who have not gotten to beat up a fluffy pom-pom transporter since Thornmarch. There’s also the promise of a tentacle pet for players who brave the depths of the rejuvenated Hullbreaker Isle. There are still plenty of questions about what will be in the dungeons, but at least this is the start of some answers.

First off, the long wait between 3.0 and 3.1 was because the development team needed to recover from finishing 3.0. Which they earned.
Second, the time frame between 3.0 and 3.1 was in line with 2.0 to 2.1.
Third, there are routinely 2-3 minor patches in a major patch cycle that bring new items and activities. Many of us are not just looking forward to 3.3,but 3.35 as well, as that is when the Deep Dungeon will become available.

You stated you spent money expanding innovatory and bank space, but you can buy these with gold.  And sometimes those are cheap gold.  So you are paying for convince as you can’t earn gold.  Why should they give you free innovatory space.  talk to NPC expand bag space.

SorriorDragneel five months was to long to wait. You ewalize ffxi gets monthly updates. Most games get one every sixty to ninety days.   I did all 3.0 content, waited moved on.  I am used to expansions having things to do.  And developers add patches for two years for the expansion you buy.

Again why does ffxii get more updates then this game?  Maybe next expansion will bring blue mages and I will stay around.

FFXIV is a fantastic game. I come back to it every once and while and there is always something to do.

jeremy2020 DanielMiller3. I tried it out at 2.0, later 3.0.  Did all soryline, crafting.  Made airship even though at time I culdn’t do anything with it.  Did mining rotation, what i do like mining in ffxiv, but at 3.0 was nothing to make with mats i got.  Then developer took a long break.

FFxi got more updates since 3.0 came out. rem 119+ upgrades, end of ffxi storyline, and job points and so much more.  While ffxiv stopped at 3.1.  No real job customization, Sure you can cross over a few skills, but nothing like ffxi.

While ffxiv took a break, at 3.1, eso came out with two exansions, Archeage came out 2.5, bdo came out among so much more.  FFxiv has graphics but its predecessor has more content and updates.

hardy83 Capedavenger Have to agree. That is why any news on tv always start with bad news (terror attacks, bomb explosions, catastrophes, wars etc.) when positive news are presented (if presented at all) at the end of a programme. It’s just human nature I guess

Capedavenger  If it isn’t causing drama of some kind, there won’t be many comments here.

Capedavenger They do. They are like, you know, playing at the moment. And besides, there’s really nothing critics can say about the game at this moment, since this is the only sub-based MMORPG that delivers…
