Players of Skyforge are no strangers to fighting off invasions. There’s an invasion of the planet of Aelion every ten minutes or so, after all. But the invasion bearing down on the planet this time is a bit different. The Gorgonides aren’t simply coming to the planet in force on their own; they’re being led by the empress herself, Bedazzling Akonita, the matriarch of her people and a grand threat to the safety of the mortal population of Aelion.
Players who wish to take Akonita on will need to take on an entirely different sort of challenge, sneaking aboard her flagship in order to challenge her directly. There are also two new item packs available in the game’s cash shop to celebrate Akonita’s arrival, although most of the planet’s residents would likely feel less than celebratory about it.
