Technically, the U.S. launch of the Warcraft movie is today, but in larger cities there were special showings all week, to say nothing of the premiere Monday night. Western critics are pretty much panning the film, but that hasn’t stopped people from madly throwing money at it or prepurchasing tickets for what they’re clearly hoping will be a summer blockbuster (or at least a fun flick to watch while shoving popcorn in their mouths).
