Unannounced Diablo project is looking for a game director

So what’s going on with Diablo? Something, apparently, as Blizzard is currently hiring a game director for an unannounced Diablo project.

Blizzard told Polygon that Diablo III game director Josh Mosqueira recently stepped down from his role on the franchise, but the job description for this role very much suggests more than just steering the existing game.

“Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a game director with outstanding communications skills, proven experience in creative direction, strong ability in system design, and a stellar track record of shipping AAA games to lead the Diablo series into the future.”

While no further hints are given as to what this project could entail, there are several possibilities that spring to mind. The studio could be grappling with another expansion for Diablo III, a mobile edition, something to do with the first two games, or even (although highly unlikely) work on a secret Diablo IV. What do you think?
