Back in June, we wrote about the upcoming The Division movie, which apparently has secured actor and real-life Disney prince Jake Gyllenhaal to both star and produce it alongside Ubisoft’s Gerard Guillemot. The Hollywood Reporter reports today that Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain is also negotiating for a role in the flick, which would certainly elevate it in respectability.
The movie, like the game, is set in a post-apoc, pandemic-ridden New York, but similarities between the film and game beyond that are unknown. Everything will probably be grey and depressing, but the film will hopefully launch with far fewer bugs.
