Wayfarer’s Reverie returns to the original Guild Wars

Here’s your public service announcement for the week: Guild Wars isn’t dead — not by a long shot. ArenaNet’s first title continues to operate in maintenance mode, and while new content will most likely never be seen again in the game, the studio does resurrect old events from time to time.

Case in point: Wayfarer’s Reverie has returned to the game. This is an annual event timed around the anniversary of Guild Wars 2. During the Wayfarer’s Reverie, adventurers are encouraged to take a tour of classic Guild Wars locations, one for each of the campaigns and the expansion. Players will not only get a dose of lovely nostalgia for doing so but their choice of several rewards as well.

The event will run until September 1st. If you need a hand with all of the quests and event details, check out the Guild Wars Wiki for detailed information.
