Finding proof of alien life, even extinct alien life, has been one of the holy grails of explorers in Elite Dangerous. And now pilots have discovered the wreck of an alien vessel on a planet. One player speculates that it is the Thargoids, the antagonists from the previous games.
Another player created a detailed 3-D rendering from the crash site for detailed analysis. The crash site is not a secret; any in-game player can head to the Pleiades moon to see it in person.
