In the event you missed the movie in theaters but still eagerly want to see the film that critics called “a real mess,” “overly serious,” and “a lot of sentimental hogwash” (along with many other comparable phrases), you can purchase the Warcraft movie on Blu-Ray in September. That’s not news. What is news is that you can also get some goodies along the way if you do so, just to sweeten the deal: a free copy of World of Warcraft, access to Gul’dan in Heroes of the Storm, and access to Medivh in Hearthstone.
The announcement notes that these prizes are available only within select physical copies of the movie, so don’t expect to necessarily find them in remaindered copies a year from now. The film will be available for purchase on physical media on September 27th; it’s up to you if the prospect of digital gewgaws is worth the price of admission.
