If we were asked to form a committee (such fun!) and come up with a list of, oh, say the top 10 most popular and active MMOs, it wouldn’t be that hard to come up with a general consensus. We all know what are the big dogs out there and what the majority is discussing.
But what often interests me much more are the games that don’t quite have the high profile and seeming prosperity of those big games, yet have something special and engaging to offer even so. Any time I see someone write or produce a list of underrated MMOs, my attention is drawn to it because I’m always on the prowl for strong recommendations off the beaten path.
Let’s do that today. Looking over the roster of games that you’ve played, what underrated MMORPG would you recommend to others to play and why?
