Superheroes don’t always wear capes at this point. There have been entire movies highlighting the need for not having capes. But it’s just not a superhero game if you can’t have a cape, and City of Titans is well aware of the need for caped heroes. And boy, it has capes, as shown off in the latest development diary. There are definitely capes in place.
While the staff is still working on making hair and skin tones look right under lighting and animation stress, getting the capes working well was a priority, and you can see the capes in action just below. The developers ran a test with numerous cape-wearers striding about and moving without any problems, so you can be sure everyone can have a glorious cape when the game goes beyond the earliest testing.
