We are coming undone

Killing zombies is just the warm-up; killing fellow survivors of a zombie apocalypse is where the real money is at.

H1Z1: King of the Kill just wrapped up its 2016 Invitational at Twitchcon in which several finalists competed to earn top honors and take home top dollar. In the first game, player Radek of Team Echo Fox won, while Inboxes of Team eLevate came back in the second game to cinch the victory.

The top 10 players split a $267,244 prize pool that was funded by the in-game sale of Invitational key crates. The first-place winner scored $40,086, the second $26,724, and all the way down to 10th place with a pot of $2,672. In comparison, last year’s Invitational only handed out $173,000 in prize money.
