Path of Exile’s update tonight revamps the Atlas and Sextant systems

Path of Exile’s 2.4.1 update was delayed a couple of times, but that just gave you some extra time to read the patch notes. Read quickly now because the patch is out as of an hour ago!

The patch is primarily focused on updates to last summer’s Atlas of Worlds expansion, specifically tweaks to the Atlas maps and the sextant system. Sextants are used by players to add mods to Atlas maps; with the update, players will see new sextant mods and the removal of others, plus they’ll be able to roll replacement sextant mods and upgrade existing ones to higher tiers using a vendor recipe. And for those of you who’ve got some extra coins jingling ’round in your wallet, the patch is loaded with new microtransactions — the skins and auras are shown in the vids below.
