Were you too busy gaming this week to pay attention to MMO news? Get caught up every Sunday evening with Massively Overpowered’s Week in Review!

It’s been another glorious week for MMORPG expansions: EVE Online’s Ascension expansion went live, introducing among other features the alpha clone state that allows gamers to play for free (we streamed it, if you’re curious!). Then RIFT’s Starfall Prophecy made landfall; it’s very much a traditional MMORPG expansion (with a traditional MMORPG pricetag). Even Daybreak got in on the action with twin expansions for EverQuest and EverQuest II (we streamed that one too!). And don’t forget Overwatch! All in all, good stuff for some of the genre’s staples.
