There is always a fierce curiosity among the gaming community to know what Blizzard is cooking up in its secret labs. Considering that the studio is close-lipped about any games before it is fully ready to announce them — and that Blizzard has canceled in-development projects that don’t meet its high standard — finding out any information at all is a difficult task indeed.

Of course, one can simply keep an eye on the studio’s career page for indicators, since it’s hard to hide open positions that you’re actively trying to fill. Two such entries for an unannounced game have stoked our curiosity, especially as they both mention working on “a robust first-person engine.”

Both positions are for lead software engineers that can tackle first-person software and work with other members of the team. One of the pluses for these applicants mentions “previous experience working on first-person or other action-oriented games.”

So put on your speculation caps and tell us what you think could be brewing over there at Blizzard in our comments!
