World of Warcraft gives out free emissary chests

We're all on something approaching the same side.

If you tried to work on your World of Warcraft world quests this past weekend, you might have found yourself increasingly frustrated with trying to finish up the Kirin Tor emissary quest. Due to a bug, very few quests spawned and those that did were sometimes near-impossible to finish, leaving players twiddling their thumbs as the clock counted down.

Fortunately, Blizzard was aware of this situation and has hotfixed a quick solution that automatically completes the emissary quest for everyone who logs into the game. Furthermore, future Kirin Tor days should work as normal.

“Everyone gets a complete Kirin Tor Emissary quest on login,” Blizzard reported. “This change won’t be reflected in the UI until at least two world quests are completed and even then, there may be some inconsistencies. Fixing the UI is going to require a new build at some point but we thought it would be more important to get everyone their rewards!”
