WRUP: Come for the main storyline, but stay for the food edition

I live inside a wrecking ball.

Welcome, traveler, to Hoodle’s Watch! It’s a town named after some guy, presumably named Hoodle. Anyhow, I’d ask you why you’re here, but I already know; you’re on the trail of some villainous plot or another and you need to do these quests for the next four levels before you move on. But may I suggest, my friend, that while you came for the main storyline, you stay for the food?

Seriously, it’s very good food. Chef Augustine over there has been experimenting with this sort of pan-continental fusion style, since we get so many adventurers passing through. And you haven’t lived until you’ve seen what my daughter Jessa – that’s her over there, hello Jessa! – can do with a turnip and a side of mutton. It’s really delicious.

So maybe you can just… oh, I see, you’re queued for a dungeon now. Well, all right, but at least go see what has Denna all up in arms, I hear there’s a good hat at the end of the quest chain. Also, leave your name in our books so what know about What Are You Playing. Go have fun with the main plot!

Jerk.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): My friend wants to hunt some Pokémon before we see Rogue One (spoiler: I already saw it), so I’m going to do that. My brother is finally asking about Heroes of the Storm for the rewards, so that might happen, in addition to other Blizzard non-MMOs, but… man, I’ve got an Oculus Rift Touch I still haven’t touched! I’m thinking I should fire up theBlu or maybe Dead and Buried, or even The Unspoken. The last two seem like arena games, but I’ve yet to really “feel” like VR is multiplayer beyond EVE Valkyrie, and people are pretty quiet in that game. Ah well. So many games to play, so little time!

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’d like to be in The Elder Scrolls Online, but the likelihood is I’ll just be working working working. December is a busy month for the site!

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): It’s my wife’s birthday today (assuming you’re reading this when it goes live), so we’re going to hole up and play/roleplay in World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV whilst otherwise relaxing as the snow falls outside. That should be nice. I’ve also got my last week of The Elder Scrolls Online for Choose My Adventure.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): A Christmas miracle would be me getting all of the Suramar quests done in World of Warcraft. I have bogged down in that city, big-time, so I’m going to be pushing myself to get through them. It won’t be easy, since the game is forcing me to be an elf for the duration. I feel so unclean.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): As always, I will be dipping into ARK: Survival Evolved. But most of my time will be in the Lord of the Rings Online and EverQuest II holiday events. It takes a little time grabbing free Frostfell gifts on 31 alts. Other than that, I will be welcoming my son home for his break.

Patreon Donor Pierre: I’ve started another playthrough in XCOM 2 since last week-end and I still love this game. So I’m gonna spend many hours in it, trying not to lose too many operatives, I get attached to them quite easily and what a drama when my favorite one dies to an alien ambush. I also want to get out, go to the movies to watch Rogue One, I hope I’ll find the time as I also want to dive into The Division: just following my heart, no scheduled gaming here, just what I want to play when I want to play it. Enjoy your gaming week-end MOP readers. Cheers!

Your turn!
