Project Gorgon launches a winter update as it prepares for its Indiegogo’s completion

Party in the everything.

There’s no system in Project Gorgon that can’t be made a little more weird and amusing. For example, with the winter holidays rolling around, the game’s most recent small patch didn’t just add some gifts available from NPCs you’ve befriended. It also overhauled the body heat system in the Kur Mountains, which now slowly drains the heat from you until you get frostbite, then hypothermia, then probably die. You can warm yourself with certain abilities or by building a campfire, but it’s probably best to pick up some cold weather gear to avoid freezing.

The game’s Indiegogo campaign has just about closed out now, and if you want one more chance to back the game before it launches on Steam Early Access, now is the time to get in on it. If you’ve already jumped in and backed the game, Indiegogo has made it easier to upgrade your perk to higher levels, which coincides nicely with improvements to the Duke and Patron reward tiers for the campaign. The Referral Contest is also still active, so keep your eyes peeled during the last day of the campaign.
