Just one month ago, we learned of the existence of yet another City of Heroes spinoff project: Ship of Heroes. And it’s literally a ship — the premise is that everyone’s on a big ol’ superhero spaceship that’s planet-hopping the galaxy. Today, studio Heroic Games has a new video out demoing the core city’s simulation on said spaceship.
“This video shows off the Arch in the geographical center of Apotheosis City, the first playable level of the MMORPG game,” say the devs. “The Arch is a part of the ship’s systems and it refines Unobtanium dust which is used as the in-game currency. As such, the Arch is a frequent target of attempted alien invasions.”
