Missing studio-led MMORPG events in your games, especially as Asheron’s Call goes dark next week? Kakao apparently did too, as the launch of the Margoria expansion in Black Desert yesterday heralded the dawn of some pretty epic GM-governed, truly dynamic events that Kakao kept on the down-low for people in game.
Apparently, the Gamemasters loaded players into ships and set course for the islands, pitting decks full of characters against spooky ghost pirates.
YouTuber BladeBoques caught a chunk of one of the events on his stream. “This was a really fun event with the GMs!” he wrote. “They setup boats to take us to and from Port Rat in Margoria and ghost pirates attacked us! Don’t worry, I handled them.” (He totally did not.)
