Valentine’s Day has come to Black Desert Online in a 1 GB patch today — they take V-day seriously, these folks at Kakao.
Beginning today, players can take part in a literal popularity contest as they gift chocolate to the best NPCs. The players who thus “vote” for the most popular NPC will win prizes. This is not actually how valentines work, but feel free to send me all your chocolate anyway and we can probably work something out.
February 14th itself will be capped off with a fireworks show in Calpheon City.
Today’s patch also implements the ocean rescue system to the relatively fresh Margoria content, allowing stranded players to call for a rescue boat to ferry their soggy selves back to safe harbor.
