WRUP: Point of order edition

You were hoping for a picture of Tgek'dmal, I know.

This installment of What Are You Playing will now come to order. We’d like to begin with a few points of order, starting with the most obvious one. No one – and this means no one – is allowed to park cars in Mrs. Orbison’s living room. That wall is a load-bearing one and knocking out the scaffolding is really making her angry. Also, absolutely no one is allowed to offer to “comfort her” in the bedroom following the death of her husband, especially after you run over her husband by driving your car through her wall. We’re talking about you, Eric. We all know it.

Next point of order: It turns out that sun-dried tomato pizza from down the street is actually really good, so we’ll be ordering that after all. Also, no one is allowed to taunt the werewolves after eating it. It’s got garlic, but the garlic thing is just vampires. Also, we need to stop smashing empty beer bottles against shopping carts; complaints are coming in. Last but not least, let’s not have a repeat of last week’s incident. You may now go about your normal WRUP procedures.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Family’s in town. Some I wish would disappear. Some I wish would take me with them. What I want to play is Overwatch to get that really cool Rose outfit for Tracer (who I never play, partially because I don’t like most of her outfits), or maybe do my quests with a friend in Hearthstone while they’re allowing it, but honestly? It’ll probably just be passively playing Pokémon Go while praying for Chanseys and Poyrgons and Fire Emblem Heroes because it’s a snacky JRPG mobile game of a deeper series I always want to get into but fail to finish.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): The Elder Scrolls Online, most likely! I have a couple of ideas for rerolling for the playstyle the game seems to reward instead of the one I prefer. Plus I want to get the freebie house. We’ll see!

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’ve still got stuff to do in Final Fantasy XIV, but most of it’s on alts rather than my main character, since she’s finished getting everything to the level cap. (And now to do it all again in four months or so.) I’m also tempted to head back into Final Fantasy XI even though I know full well that the minor changes to Red Mage don’t make it any more capable than it was beforehand.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): I’m making great progress on my Lore-master in Lord of the Rings Online and moving into a new house in that game, so I have plenty to do there. I might be dabbling in a few other spots, including Star Wars: The Old Republic, RIFT, and WildStar based on available time and current whims. The new WildStar update looks pretty great and I’m itching to play a Medic again!

Pierre, Patron: I’m thinking about going back to The Elder Scrolls Online to see what’s changed. I really like this MMO but stopped playing for a few months; with the new housing system in place, there’s a strong appeal to exploring Tamriel again and discovering this new system that seems to be appreciated by most players. I’ll probably play a game from my Steam backlog, but I’m yet to choose which one, there are so many of them… Enjoy the weekend and your gaming sessions, MOP readers; cheers!

Your turn!
