In the cult classic 1995 film Hackers, one of the characters remarked that “spandex is a privilege, not a right.” And how true that is, especially when it comes to superheroes. After all, if you’re putting your life on the line to save others, you deserve to wear whatever you want.
City of Titans stretched out the subject of spandex for a post on its costume art design. The team said that it’s incorporated a nice variety of outfit material to empower player creativity: “We needed spandex to have a wide range of choices for both patterns and textures. We needed to build support for control, expansion, and flexibility into every angle. We needed to make sure that both the modern and the classic are not forgotten, but brought forward to the modern day.”
As a footnote to the post, the team also announced that it will be making some changes to give the City of Titans brand a “makeover” in the weeks to come.
