Going to see Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 tomorrow? Marvel Heroes is taking advantage of cross-promotion love with a big Guardians of the Galaxy event and sale you may want to keep an eye on, and critically, all of it is available on PC.
Existing Guardians of the Galaxy-related characters, costumes, and team-ups are half off. There are brand-new new costumes for Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon too, but they’re not on sale for obvious reasons. PS4 players will indeed be able to pick up the new costumes in the Omega beta.
Everyone else can log in over the next week to take part in the Cosmic Chaos event and pick up login rewards (it’s a pair of new themed fortune cards). And if you’re actually playing the relevant toons?
“For the duration of the Cosmic Chaos event, both Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon will receive a 100% bonus XP! This bonus stacks with the 42% server-side XP bonus from the Cosmic Chaos event.”
