Order and Chaos asks gamer moms for their stories

Order and Chaos, everyone’s default generic mobile MMO suggestion since 2011, became surprisingly vocal following this past Sunday’s Mother’s Day. Gameloft took the time to interview several of its female players about what it’s like being both a mom and a gamer and how they manage to balance the two roles.

Lots of great testimonies, including this one: “There are times when we might have to quit a team mid-run because our child decides to pour the dog food all over the floor, take their diaper off and run around the house, or pour chocolate all over the kitchen. (This is when I’ll ring spam to keep the team alive.) We are pros at playing one-handed and with a child on our hip.”

Other moms talked about how the MMO brought out the best in their natures and allowed them to game alongside their children to forge a special shared bond. One couple even found each other through the game, got married, and had a daughter.

So what’s the deal, other MMOs? Never talk to your parents? Order and Chaos just showed you all up. Order and Chaos. Let that sink in for a bit. Now go call your mom and apologize.

Loool at the Doritos and Red Bull. That’s like the cherry on top of an already spicy meme.

Why not single parents? Why just moms?

Because it’s MOTHER’s Day, not Single Parents Awareness Day.

Not in the UK it’s not, so it’s a valid question.

I raised 5 kids by myself because their mom didn’t know she was supposed to stop dating when we got married so I get a little irked when people talk about single moms without mentioning single dads

The article written by the game’s team says “Mother’s Day Arrives” so yes, it’s about Mother’s Day.

Father’s day is in June. Parents’ day is in July. Grandparents’ day is in September. Everybody’s covered.
