It never fails to amaze us how some MMO players will create extreme challenges in their games — and overcome those challenges. Take Kruithne, a World of Warcraft player who had a dream to level a character from one to 110 doing nothing but pet battles. Seemingly impossible? Well, mission accomplished.

Kruithne posted a screenshot of his level 110 Priest (who is still in her starting gear, natch) as proof. This project took a good chunk of time to accomplish, clocking in at around 117 hours of play time to watch that character crawl up the levels via experienced earned solely through pet battles. The player estimated that it averaged out to be about 10 pet battles per critter, resulting in 797 pets reaching level 25 in the process.

“I pretty much only leveled during the Sign of the Critter buff,” Kruithne explained on Reddit, “and I always keep my Safari Hat on. I had one pet that carried the leveling pet without need for downtime.”
