Massively OP Podcast Episode 120: Steaming into summer

Like this, but darker.

On this week’s show, Justin and Bree welcome summer by talking about SWTOR’s roadmap, Black Desert’s amazing Steam debut, and a troubling Shroud of the Avatar announcement, as well as a mailbag question about casual gaming.

It’s the Massively OP Podcast, an action-packed hour of news, tales, opinions, and gamer emails! And remember, if you’d like to send in your own letter to the show, use the “Tips” button in the top-right corner of the site to do so.

Thanks for getting to my question! And don’t worry Bree, that question actually isn’t that old. That Octavia post just stuck in my mind for quite awhile simce a techno bard sounded awesome.

For the casual gaming, sometimes the best thing to do is to stop gaming, leave all devices you have and spend your time doing something else, reading, going outside for a walk .. etc, these games will still be there when you come back.

Also, in many MMOs, there are options to do side content, anything you never do or you don’t do much is side content, try that, there are also single-player games, mobile games, pen and paper games, real life puzzle toys .. i own 2 of these :-)

I’m a level 13 Archer in FFXIV and I’m enjoying the game, so far.
I like the sound of those Bard changes.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t they taking away the 2nd class requirement for the advanced jobs..?

You are correct; jobs will only require leveling the main class.

That’s great news. Thanks!
And good job with all the coverage.
Your efforts definitely got me interested in the game!
