E3 2017: Final Fantasy XIV hosts a Stormblood blood drive

Personally I actually really enjoy DRK's kit this expansion, but it does lack the punchy utility of the other tank jobs.
Blood will be spilled in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. That’s almost a given. But blood gets spilled on a regular basis in the real world, and so the team behind Final Fantasy XIV has launched what will probably go down as the most unexpected cross-promotional deal in history. If you’re on the ground for E3 2017, you can head over to take part in the Stormblood blood drive in cooperation with the American Red Cross.

Those who take part will earn the satisfaction of knowing that they’ve helped make the world a better place as well as a t-shirt. The Stormblood-themed bloodmobile will be on-side at the show during all three days, with subsequent stops planned for southern California university campuses. No word on whether or not nurses are asked to refer to donors on the van as the Warrior of Light, but we’re going to go ahead and assume that they are.

I’m gay, have a boyfriend, definitely not celibate for a year. Wish I could. C’est la vie. Glad other people who are “normal” can help out.

Nice =) I needed blood after losing so much when my son was born (near death). So thanks to FFXIV for doing this and for all blood donors everywhere. Without you, I wouldn’t be alive <3

I regularly give blood, but it’s usually at the drive at work, or very occasionally at the local emergency center . I often see drives at SF conventions, but I never wanted to try to squeeze a blood donation into all the other activity I’m in for when I attend a convention. I’ve never had the “opportunity” to receive blood, but my father was transfused 40 (yes, 40) pints of blood during a 16-hour emergency surgery he had after an undiscovered aneurysm burst. He survived, and my younger brother and I made a pact that we’d regularly donate until we’d replaced it all. We finally hit the 40 pint mark a few years ago. I’m scheduled to give again at a drive at work next week. At this point I treat it as a civic duty. Big ups to FFXIV crew for doing this, especially in the summer when the need peaks and the supply is usually low.
